Job Overview:

The Hostess is the first point of contact for guests when they arrive at the restaurant. This position is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, greeting guests, managing reservations, and efficiently seating patrons. A successful Hostess ensures guests have a pleasant experience from the moment they walk through the door, helping to set the tone for their dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Greet guests warmly upon arrival.
2. Manage seating arrangements and ensure guests are seated promptly.
3. Manage and coordinate guest flow, ensuring minimal wait times.
4. Escort guests to their tables, ensuring that tables are prepared and clean.
5. Assist guests with making reservations and answer any questions regarding wait times or available seating.
6. Ensure all guests are treated with respect and courtesy throughout their visit.
7. Communicate with the Hostess Supervisor or Restaurant Manager about any customer concerns or issues.
8. Collaborate with the Hostess Supervisor and Restaurant Manager to ensure efficient front-of-house operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service or restaurant experience preferred.
• Friendly, professional, and personable demeanor with good communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
